NVIDIA 540 M 3D is capable of playing games and movies. However, you need a 120 Hz screen. The Acer is only at 60 HZ. To use an external shield is required for a 3-D HDMI 1.4a output. According to Acer service this device, however, has only a 1.3a output. The technician was not sure, however. He said one could use the digital output of the computer.
