democracy versus capitalism

"Democracy requires the small units. Without the proximity of people, with more than one language, living without public at best is a formal democracy (elections), but not a substantive democracy of freedom, equality and fraternity possible. The plurality (pluralism) of the Republic, the home of a man (government, state government, municipalities, universities, professional associations, church, etc.) gives the political Influence of a chance. Large units may be powerful (and jeopardize their power to peace in the world). But they are not (in the substantive sense) or even democratic republics. Democracy requires the real impact of humans on the policy, not caring for guardianship, but substantive self-determination.

In Europe, the small viable units, the peoples who live in the best possible federalized and communalised States. The leveling of the leading nations in Europe at the end of democracy and the end of freedom, but also and above all equality of brotherhood. "
