I had now for over a year in search for a good and affordable 13.3 "laptop. Ultimately it is the ASUS Bamboo become. What convinced me is the voice processing and nice design with the wood surface. Technically, everything is in it what I need (4GB Ram, extra graphics card, faster processor, HDMI, USB 3.0).

What struck me positve:
+ super keyboard - but the arrangement of the buttons for other devices is a horror. Not with Asus, everything here is where you would expect and the stop and trigger point are also very good
+ processing is top.
+ USB 3.0 port. If not for an e-SATA is here, over here you can also quickly move data.
+ HDMI compatible output
+ Linux (WiFi, graphics, sound can be detected under Ubuntu)

What is not so great is:
- The touchpad is not defined, as no boundary exists, you move your finger quickly beyond the borders.
- Windows 7 is littered with many unnecessary programs. Here you need a good hour to free themselves from what you do not need
- Kensington lock is not in the standard size (supported by with not needed)

I purchased the notebook in early December and since then work with it.
