Today I present you my favorite recipe for crispy, spicy chicken drumsticks from the oven. For a while I rumprobiert, times, times that try this until I came to "my" perfect recipe. The starting point of my tests was a recipe for oriental chicken legs on oven potatoes Alfons Beck (in the book published My cooking the spices ) that I've snapped at my mother. A total of 15 different spices are used in the recipe. I got it first nachgekocht times true to the recipe - which I do often so when I try a new recipe, I will first let's see where we should go so taste before I modification according to my preferences. I cook really happy with many spices, but here it was to me a bit too much, I missed something like a "clear line" o)
Ever since I got the chicken legs several times cooked myself further and further from the Original recipe away until I had arrived at "my" perfect seasoning for butter chicken. Only four spices are now in front of me (okay, two spice mixtures) - turmeric, cayenne pepper, curry and garam masala. The implementation of the recipe is simple: the chicken legs are first seasoned with salt and pepper and cooked for half an hour in the oven. Meanwhile, you prepare the spice butter with the chicken parts are poured over after half an hour. They then cook again for half an hour until they are deliciously crisp.
From the results we are all excited again and again. A wonderfully crispy skin, nice spicy and the meat very tender and juicy. And all this in such a relaxed way:) These courts, which make in the oven like magic, I love even more - this is enough time to prepare the side dishes and perhaps also in the Kitchen to keep order. Perfect:)
Serve recommends Schuhbeck way potato cubes are cooked with the chicken legs together in the oven. I once tried it but I do not like so well, because the potato cubes soaked with butter and spices were just too greasy to me then. Since then we have tried various supplements to herein as rice (seasoned with a little turmeric) and a fresh dip of sour cream, buttermilk, lime zest and juice and curry powder. Instead of this dip, I ask myself a mango chutney very tasty. And absolutely amazing as a side dish is the mango and mozzarella salad , in my opinion, the perfect combination:)
recipe
for two hungry people

1-2 tablespoons olive oil
salt, pepper
80g butter
1 tablespoon turmeric

Meanwhile, melt the butter in a saucepan. The pot of the stove and add the spices - it might only take a little less butter and add the seasoning accordingly and according to their own taste. The chicken from the oven, sprinkle with the spiced butter and push for another 30 minutes in the oven. During this time two more times with the seasoned butter that accumulates on the plate or in the form beschöpfen.
